Contribution

Located in Grove City, Ohio, Beulah Park is a landmark master-planned redevelopment of the historic 200-acre Beulah Park Thoroughbred racetrack into a vibrant, walkable "hometown in a new way" community. Featuring interconnected neighborhoods, extensive parks, a town center, and natural open spaces, the project introduces a new residential destination of this magnitude and requires a cohesive visual identity that bridges historic equestrian heritage with modern suburban living. Early in the master planning process, the project required place-based communication tools to help stakeholders, prospective residents, and the public visualize the pedestrian experience, green corridors, and neighborhood connections across the sprawling development.

During the early conceptualization and place-branding phase, I designed a comprehensive, two-sided trifold brochure and interactive neighborhood experience map. The project involved translating raw master-plan data into an intuitive, visually engaging format that brought together the community's character, amenities, destinations, and walking routes. By developing the initial print layouts, foldout panels, and detailed walking-distance maps, I created a tangible collateral piece that helped the development team and subsequent agencies identify, refine, and establish the project’s overarching brand identity.
